He served in the National Guard and in fact was away in Mississippi when I arrived in this world. He currently lives in O'Brien,  FL.  He married  Barbara J. Taylor on 8-31-1956 @ Holden Heights Baptist Church  by Rev. Daniel Davis Jr. "Bobbie Taylor" died 10-17-1959, a little over two years after their wedding and shortly (18 mo.) after having me.  He married Shirley J. Nelson six months later on 3-20-1960 @ Delaney  Street Baptist Church.  Shirley and Wayne were divorced in Sept. 1995 after moving to Clermont. I remember traveling the USA, Canada, Mexico with the YMCA, Indian Guides in which he was active with all his sons. Wayne and Shirley divorced in November 1995. Wayne relocated to O'Brien, FL. (Next to his father's Property on the Suwannee River)

She died on 17 Oct 1959 in Orlando (ORMC Hospital), Orange County, Florida from Viral Spinal Meningitis. She was buried on 20 Oct 1959 in Monte-Vista Burial Gardens, Johnson City, TN. Bobbie married Clinton Wayne HARRELL on 31 Aug 1956 in Holden Heights Church, Florida.

Bobbie obtained a marriage license on 31 Aug 1956 in Orlando, Orange County, Florida. She graduated in Boone High School - Orlando, Florida.

BIOGRAPHY: Barbara Joan Taylor ( Born 5-16-1937, Died 10-17-1959. She migrated to Orlando, Fla. with her parents in 1947. Barbara attended Boone High School in Orlando, Fla.  where she was a Boone Bravette cheerleader.  She did not attend college. Barbara started the work force as a dress Salesperson. She was a Baptist all her life,  taught Sunday  school  and had  a very strong religious belief . Barbara married Clinton Wayne Harrell  on  8-31-1956 @ Holden Heights Baptist Church Rev. Daniel Davis Jr. Always seemingly prone to illness,  she died of  viral Spinal Meningitis @ Orange Memorial Hospital (ORMC) in Orlando, Fla , 16 months after I was born.  Her attending physician at the time of her death was Dr. Colter.  She was buried @ Monte-Vista Burial Park in Johnson City, Tenn. on Wednesday 10-21-1959. Bobbie and Wayne had only one child....me !

BIOGRAPHY: My father remarried a year or so after my  natural mother's death in 1959 and I was adopted by my new mother - Shirley J. Harrell.  I attended  Mollie Ray Elementary School ,  Memorial Junior High and Oakridge High School, all in Orlando, Fla.  I  was a member of the  Oakridge High Tennis Team, National Honor Society and Air Force ROTC where I  received an appointment to the Air Force Academy in Colorado which I  turned down to continue and become a Registered Nurse ( Associate Degree from Valencia Community College , Bachelors Degree from U.C.F. in Nursing with minor in Computer Sciences). I  worked briefly (several years )  while attending college @ Walt Disney World as "Tom Sawyer? and a Monorail Pilot. My hobbies include Tennis / Volleyball, Genealogy, Computers, and Country Western Dancing.  Worked as Nursing Supervisor @ Lucerne Hospital for several years.  Responded to Hurricane Andrew Disaster with Lucerne's Relief  Medical Team in 1992 and probably had worst and most fulfilling experience of my life. Retired due to health problems and moved to Clermont to help care for grand-mother after she suffered a stroke in 1995.Then later after my father's and step-mothers divorced, I moved to O'Brien, Florida to be close to my father and grandparents. Relocated to Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida in 1999. Later I returned to North Florida and purchased property in Suwannee County near O'Brien Florida on the Suwannee River.

Shirley Joyce Nelson (Harrell) (born 7-22-1940 in Pine Castle, Fla.)  married  Clinton Wayne Harrell on  3-18-1960 in Orlando, Fla @ Delaney Street  Baptist  Church. She is Baptist and a member @ West Orange Baptist Church.  She had chicken pox and measles at the age of ten. Shirley started out  working as a fountain girl  @ Angebilt Pharmacy, worked briefly @ Martin Marietta and is currently  working as a Bookkeeper / Accountant @ Woodlawn Funeral Home.  She attended Boone High School in Orlando, Fla and was a member of 4-H Club, Pep Club, and Campus Crusaders . She loves and  has owned cows and horses all her life - Cookie, Lucky and Commanche (d. 9-23-1975) were her favorites.  She briefly raised and cared for two other children, Derek Voyles ( b. 3-17-1959 died  in Houston, Texas on 8-14-1972 after committing suicide) and Peggy Jane Ivey (b. 1960)( from step-parents Larry and Myra Ivey in Nov. 1974) Relocated family home to Clermont, Fla. in 1987.  Shirley divorced  Clinton Wayne Harrell  in October 1995. Shirley currently works @ Woodlawn Funeral Home as Accountant.

BIOGRAPHY: Henry Matthew Albritton Harrell  [ b. 15 Mar 1841 in Lowndes Co.,Ga. d. 1909 in Mascott (Sumter/Lake Co.), Fla. ] married Isabelle Sophrona Wood [ b. 5-26-1844 d. 9-15-1909 in Mascott, Fla.], a red-headed woman. Henry Matthew Harrell moved from Georgia to Alabama then to Florida in 1857, and settled in what is now the city of Winter Garden, Florida. He lived there until 1865, when he sold out to William Mills from Tennessee and moved to Marion County (Webster / Linden / Mascott, Fla. Area )  Henry was a tall man, standing more than six foot in height. He also served for the Confederacy during the Civil War. Henry and Isabelle Harrell are buried in Empire Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Linden near Mascott, Fla. He was a Baptist and a farmer all his life. It seems several of his children relocated to Kathleen, Fla. (near Lakeland) although there are still Harrell Family ties in Suwanee Co. Fla. (near Georgia / Florida Border)
